Shkodran Mustafi’s header earned Arsenal a point against a top-four rival while also helping to ease just a tip of the pressure on Arsène Wenger.
LeRoy Sane opened the goal scoring with his brilliant display and pace beating the goal keeper David Ospina to score his 8th goals from just 13 shots on target in all competitions for Man City.
Theo Walcott equalised in the 40th minute when he bundled in before Sergio Aguero struck straight back 3 minutes later to put City back in front.
Defender Shkodran Mustafi brought the scores back level with a header at the 54th minute to end the thrilling draw.
Arsenal are winless in their last five matches stretching back to January. There was also yet another setback for Wenger, however, with defender Laurent Koscielny suffering an achilles injury. The France defender was replaced at half time.
